This month, we’re spotlighting Erin in the Morning, the essential blog by journalist and advocate Erin Reed. Erin has been closely tracking developments of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” which has a provision included that would ban Medicaid coverage of transition-related care for adults — a deeply troubling proposal that would have devastating impacts for TGNC communities. Her transparent, timely reporting is a vital resource for our community and allies. Follow her work at erininthemorning.com. You can also read more about the impacts of this bill from the Human Rights Campaign. The House has passed the spending bill and it has arrived in the US Senate, where several changes are expected. You can stay up to date on the bill and find relevant actions to take from National Council of Nonprofits, United Philanthropy Forum, and Council on Foundations.

The Global Philanthropy Project has launched the sixth cycle of data collection for their Global Resources Report, which is scheduled for release in June 2026. Ensure that your grants are included in the data, analysis, and comprehensive report by submitting them below.
