4.5 SAT // Hands Off! Rallies

National and local organizations (including LWV) are coming together across the country to organize a national mass activation in defiance of the billionaire takeover and the federal assault on our freedoms and our communities. It's an all-in moment for the pro-democracy, pro-worker movement—a demand, a warning, and a rallying cry.

4.12-27 // Congressional Recess—Call for Town Halls

The League is encouraging members and supporters to attend town halls to ask questions about what is happening with Congress and the Administration. But first we need to make sure they hold these town hall events! We're tracking town halls on our website and will continue to update it. 

 

4.16 WED // Redistricting Taskforce Meeting  

All individuals and organizational representatives are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of each month for the Redistricting Reform Task Force meeting. Each month we strategize and implement the actions needed to achieve reform. Learn more.

 

4.22 TUE // How Healthy is Washington State's Democracy?
This League Affinity Group meetings are the 4th Tuesday of each month at 4:30 PM. Contact Jean Jover-Snider for the meeting link or more info. Learn more about affinity groups for League members here.

On Tuesday, March 25, President Trump issued an executive order on elections—the LWVWA strongly opposes this order. It will damage WA's vote-by-mail election system and introduce chaos into our well-functioning system. Click below to see some of the potential damaging impacts.
