Initiative 2117 is a Bad Deal for Washington State—Vote NO on 2117

The LWVWA opposes I-2117, which would repeal the Climate Commitment Act (CCA) and prohibit all state agencies, counties, and cities from implementing any type of carbon tax credit trading. Repealing the CCA would cut transit funding, increase the pollution in our air and water, and gut critical programs—like those that protect communities from wildfires. Read on to learn more about I-2117 and why the LWVWA opposes it.
